 I chose this image as a cover because I think that it encapsulates the overarching theme of the EP: beautiful pain. In the cover art, I’m by myself with only my reflection to accompany me; the colors are bright and pretty but I’m still lonely and uncomfortable with my singular presence. Nature surrounds me, suggesting that heartbreak and pain and loneliness are all natural emotions to feel. And in a whimsical, fairy-tale-esque dress, themes from literature are brought into the cover art as well.
